Cheap Places to Visit in Asia

Introduction to Cheap Places to Visit in Asia

Asia is a continent that’s always been on my list of places to visit. But it’s not just about seeing the big cities and tourist destinations; There are many little towns that provide a distinctive experience for individuals looking for a break from the commotion of metropolitan life.

So whether you’re looking for some peace or want to find out how much locals dislike tourists and vice versa, here are  cheap places to go in Asia:

Malaysia

Malaysia is a Southeast Asian nation, the world’s largest tin producer, and a tourist destination. Malaysia has many beautiful beaches, which make it a popular destination for tourists.

The country also has a rich history and diverse cultures that make it an exciting place to visit.

Malaysia is home to many ethnic groups, including Malaysians, Indians, Chinese, and others from all over Asia.

They immigrated to this country over time due to its economic opportunities and political stability during colonial rule by the British Empire until independence in 1957, when Indonesia became independent from the Netherlands East Indies colony after WWII ended.

However, there were no wars between these two countries even though they share borders along the Strait Of Malacca, where they meet up at the equator, so now you know why I chose Malaysia instead.

Indonesia

Indonesia, with its beaches and volcanoes, is one of the world’s most beautiful countries. The country also has a rich history and culture.

Over 1,000 islands in Indonesia make for some great places to visit. Some of them include Bali (the island of paradise), Lombok (a paradise for climbers), and Komodo Island (home to dragons).

The temples are some of the most iconic attractions because they’re both beautiful and historic. There are temples everywhere, from Java’s Mount Merbabu Temple to Flores’ Mahapunky Temple with its golden Buddha statue.

Philippines

The Philippines is a great place to visit if you like beaches and islands. It’s also a cheap destination, with lower prices than many other Asian countries.

The country has some of the most beautiful beaches in Asia, as well as some tropical islands where you can enjoy diving or snorkeling.

If you’re looking to go on an adventure vacation but want to save money, we recommend visiting this country.

Bangladesh

Bangladesh is a cheap country to visit, and it’s one of the best places for budget travelers. Dhaka’s capital is a beautiful city with many great beaches, temples, and food options.

Bangladesh is also home to splendid tourist attractions like Gorachand National Park, where you can spot red panda bears and other wild animals like tigers, leopards, and elephants.

If you’re interested in visiting these animals, this park might be worth considering.

Cambodia

Cambodia is a country in Southeast Asia. It’s beautiful, and it has many exciting places to see.

Cambodia is one of the smallest countries by size. This makes Cambodia very accessible for visitors who want to visit without having to spend much money on accommodation or transportation costs.

When you’re there, remember its natural resources. The country has lots of forests filled with tropical plants and trees like rubber trees that can be used for making rubber products like shoes or tires, or furniture.

Thailand

Thailand is a great place to visit for the beaches, food, and culture. Some of the nicest beaches may be found here. The world also has a rich cultural heritage with many different ethnic groups represented.

Thailand offers cheap accommodation options if you want to stay near one of its famous resorts or get away from it all at one of its beautiful beachfront resorts.

You can even find hotels that cater specifically to backpackers without breaking your bank account.

Vietnam

Vietnam is a country in Southeast Asia. It borders China to the north, Laos to the northwest, Cambodia to the southwest, and Thailand’s Gulf of Thailand to the east.

Vietnam has a rich history and culture with many UNESCO World Heritage Sites, such as Halong Bay or Hanoi, that you can visit if you want to get closer to this beautiful country.

Laos

Laos is a great place to visit, and it’s cheap. Laos offers a variety of activities and sights to explore, including hiking through the mountains or visiting temples along the Mekong River.

The food is good, too; if you like Asian cuisine, you’ll love it here.

In addition to all these activities and sights, Laos has friendly people who speak English well and sometimes French.

So if you want an affordable trip where your money won’t go far but still leave a lasting impression on your travel memories, consider visiting this beautiful country.

Tajikistan is a mountainous country that offers a lot of natural beauty. It’s also an excellent place to visit for hiking and mountain climbing.

The cuisine is great, the people are nice, and the weather is pleasant in both summer and winter.

Tajikistan has been off-limits to tourists since 1992 due to civil war between government forces and rebel groups such as Hizb ut-Tahrir al-Islami (HUTH), who aim to create an Islamic state based on sharia law that would rule Tajikistan under Mullah Omar’s leadership until he died in 2013.

However, recent improvements have made it possible for foreign visitors again.

Consider visiting this location off the beaten path in Sri Lanka if you wish to venture off the beaten path:

  • Varakamulla Cave Temple: This cave temple is located outside Colombo on an island called Pundaluweli.

It’s considered one of Sri Lanka’s most sacred sites because it houses statues representing various gods throughout history, including Buddha.

You can climb up inside this cave temple, with rooms explicitly dedicated to each deity represented within its walls.

However, only certain people are allowed entry due to security reasons, so make sure you check first before going with friends who don’t know what they’re doing before exploring further into this ancient site with them.
